This organza origami dress by Li Sang-Bong is so exquisite. The folding, cutting, hand-painting, dyeing and sewing is something I can’t begin to fathom. This qualifies as art to me, not least because I spotted it in the Design Exhibition at The V&A a few months ago.
The colour reminds me of Koi Carp, with their pinkish red and delicate, almost flamingo pink white. And the fabric is like a mille-feuille. True, it’s almost too beautiful to wear, but we can always look… and dream.
