In LA for a hot minute, I checked out the opening of here-today pop-up by  cute ‘n strange skate brand RIPNDIP. It’s easy to find on Fairfax Ave in West Hollywood. So if you’re on Melrose Ave and making your way towards MOCA Pacific Design Centre to slake your West Coast contemporary art thirst,  you’re only a hop’n’skip away from RIPNDIP. You could just triangulate with LACMA and make a fabulous art-filled day of it..why not? (Personally, I’d stop by the pink Paul Smith building for a fixie , or a peek at their new collection, plus a couple rose-tinted selfies too.. but that’s just me.) It seems like all the world’s on a pop art jag these days and I suspect RIPNDIP’s artists could be Keith Haring’s long-lost cousins.. but why spend time on art history when there’s awesome surfboards like these to wax?

Run, don’t walk.

RIPNDIP Got The Water – Run, don’t walk.DV

I loved this place: the kitty paddling pool, the Roswell alien life guard and free water.. why wouldn’t I? Speaking of which, this could be your summer quencher: Dizzy Gee RIPNDIP GOT THE WATER. Sip away.
