You need an Açai Super Zing Smoothie because:
It’s pulsating with Açai, antioxidants, protein and vitamins, this smoothie almost made me feel uncomfortably energetic. Not a bad thing, considering the torpor and general sluggishness that heralded my lack of resolution this New Year. It’s been two months already, and while things have changed lickety split, I’m still sort of.. blah. How about you?
Still, this latest creation should resolve matters: either I’ll get that start-up going, take up boxing.. or I’ll break something around the house. It’s that good and, er, zingy. I made it yesterday evening, before a busy night, as an alternative to coffee (or any other pre-event loading, for that matter) and sailed till late, woke up early and bounded out of bed, all clear-eyed. Amazed. Could replace your double espresso before work, or running to the next major city.
So let’s get to it.
- 1 Avocado
- 2 Minneolas (or other tart citrus)
- 1 Banana
- 2-4 tsps Indigo Herbs Supervital (100% Organic Açai & Baobab – adjust quantity to taste and energy required)
- 1-2 Cups Water (adjust according to thickness preferred)
It’s very quick to make, as all the ingredients are soft. Makes 3-4 small glasses, two large or one slurper size. If all those vitamins are too zingy for you, add a bit of stevia (or honey if you’re not vegan).
